OUR PASTOR....

Pastor Willie C. Mosley was born in Chamblee, Georgia on September 23, 1969; born the last of four children to Eddie and Lucy Mosley, Reverend Mosley learned very early the importance of God in his life.

For 19 years, Willie C. Mosley has made it his mission to empower changed people to change the world. His message is clear: If Christians are to positively impact the world, they must be willing to minister beyond the walls of the church.

Feeling the pull of Christ on his heart, Pastor Mosley preached his first sermon at the tender age of 17 at Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of The Reverend C.D. Gearing.   Reverend Mosley spoke the words that would become one of the themes for his life, "God Is In Control."

Pastor Mosley was ordained on September 23, 1988 there at Zion Baptist Church. Those words were evident during his years at Dekalb Technical Institute and Luther Rice Theological Seminary. Being obedient to the Holy Spirit, Pastor Mosley was led to Thankful Baptist Church, and later New Life Baptist Church under the Leadership of The Reverend Marlin D. Harris where he served as Youth Pastor. In 2003 Pastor Mosley and his family journeyed to Raleigh, North Carolina where they united with the Baptist Grove Church family under the leadership of Pastor Paul L. Anderson.

On December 23, 2004, Pastor Mosley became the pastor of Evans Grove Baptist Church and has served under God's anointing ever since.

Serving as God's appointed under shepherd, Pastor Mosley has implemented many programs that have encouraged, edified, and erupted a season of revival in the lives of his sheep. His teachings continue to move the children of God outside the doors of the church to evangelize to those who are lost and searching for God. Pastor Mosley’s realistic and practical preaching has convicted and converted many hearts, causing the Evans Grove Baptist Church family to move from religion to relationship with Christ.

Reverend Willie Mosley is dedicated and devoted to his love for God and all His children. He realizes that there is no greater calling that one can receive than carrying out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he is blessed to have the opportunity to do so.  He is blessed by God also to have a loving and supportive wife, Denise and their three great children, Dania, Darrell and Savannah
